Amazon's harms to small businesses

Amazon stealing funds from small business and forcing them out of business.

Amazon on boarding contacted Royal Computing products to onboard their products into amazon and be seller.

At first Royal was hesitant not changing their format of business but employees state it that the revenue increase is worth the risk, The management agreed to onboard a hand full of products for beta setting and test the water.

In matter of couple of weeks Royal sold and delivered to customers nationwide and had repeat buyers about $42000

When the time came for disbursement of funds from amazon there were silents, no contact, no payment, no reasoning its like we were talking to a machine. No human contact in billing? just a random emails.

A week or so later we got correspondence from amazon that state it due to the high volume of products the funding will be delayed for 30-days and not to worry about that. CONTINUE SELLING IT STATED.

We were alarmed as the number of small business has the very same issue abut funding. so remove dour products and waited.

When the 30-Days was up we got another correspondence from @amazon stating that we should provide our seller and distribution partners names and information provide invoices and purchase orders.

We did provide that information and about the same day and got another email from @amazonsellersupport stating that funds will be held for SIX MONTHS.

Again no one to talk to reason, only machine made emails no phone numbers no human contact.

We waited out the SIX MONTH DELAY and there was silence again.

Two weeks after the expired date of six month we attempted to contact amazon and got another machine made generic email stating that OUR FUNDS ARE BEEN WITHHELD INDEFINITELY.

What? a platform for seller can hold your funds? that is fraud right?

Amazon as a seller platform Can not Legally be the Brand protection, The brand protection falls on manufacturer and all of them have a department assigned to Brand protection that have been trained for that specific work.

Amazon May not act as The Judge, The  juror and the executioner.

This manipulation of law and order is another act of bullying from Amazon.

Amazon is facing a tough week. Karl Racine, Attorney General of the District of Columbia, renewed criticisms at a Senate subcommittee hearing this week that Amazon harms small businesses using its platform. On top of that, Amazon received a record antitrust fine from Italy.

Italian antitrust authorities hit Amazon with the $1.28 billion fine Thursday for abusing its dominant market position. According to the Italian antitrust authority, Amazon promotes its own logistics service, Fulfillment by Amazon, among the third-party sellers on its platform to the detriment of its competitors. By promoting its own logistics service, Amazon has benefitted from better visibility and potential sales on its own platform, the authority said. The authority wants Amazon to take corrective action.
